Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 21, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Ultimate Web Scraper, operated by Happy Panda Tech FZ-LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and protects your information. It applies to:

  • The Ultimate Web Scraper browser extension
  • The Ultimate Web Scraper Cloud Platform (cloud.ultimatewebscraper.com) and its API
  • AI assistant connections to your workspace — the MCP connector used by Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI apps
  • Our website at ultimatewebscraper.com

We respect your privacy and collect only the minimum data required to provide our services. If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.

2. Browser Extension

Data We Collect

  • Email address — collected when you purchase a license, used to deliver and manage your license key.
  • License devices — activating a license stores a device identifier and a browser name for each activated browser, to enforce your license's device limit.
  • Usage analytics — we record product events (which features are used, errors) to improve the extension and fix bugs. When you sign in with your cloud account these events are linked to it; otherwise they are keyed to a random device identifier.

Data We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not collect any financial information. All payments are processed securely by Stripe.
  • Data you scrape with the extension on your own device stays in your browser — we never receive it. If you start a cloud run from the extension, its results are stored in your cloud workspace (see Cloud Platform below).

3. Cloud Platform

Data We Collect

  • Account information — your email address and name, required to create and manage your account. When you sign in, we also record your IP address and browser for the session (see Data Retention).
  • Scraped data — data you extract using the Cloud Platform is processed on our servers and stored in your workspace, where you can view, export, and delete it.
  • Product analytics — usage metrics, linked to your account, to improve the platform.

How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and operate the Cloud Platform services.
  • Our team may access your data, including scraped data, for customer support and debugging purposes.
  • Some features are AI-assisted: small excerpts of the pages you scrape — such as a screenshot or a few sample rows — may be processed by third-party AI providers, only to provide the feature.
  • We never sell your data. Sharing is limited to the service providers listed in Section 6, or actions you take yourself (such as exporting to Google Sheets).

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details or any financial information on our servers.

4. AI Assistants & the MCP Connector

You can connect AI assistants — Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP-compatible app — to your workspace. When you do, the assistant sends us tool calls: the name of an action and its parameters (for example, a table to query, or URLs to scrape). We use them only to perform that action in your workspace.

  • We do not store your conversations. Your chat with the assistant never reaches us, and we do not persist the inputs or outputs of individual tool calls beyond the changes the action itself makes in your workspace (for example, a table it creates). What happens inside the assistant is governed by its provider's own privacy policy (for example Anthropic for Claude, OpenAI for ChatGPT).
  • What we keep: aggregated usage statistics (which tool was called, how long it took, whether it succeeded — never its inputs or results) and connection lifecycle events (connect, consent, disconnect, failures), for the periods listed in Data Retention.
  • Access control: connections are authorized with OAuth or workspace tokens. Tokens are stored as cryptographic hashes, and each OAuth grant records which app is connected to which workspace with which access level. You can review and disconnect every connection in your dashboard under Integrations — revocation takes effect immediately.

5. Where Your Data Lives

Your account data and scraped data are stored primarily in the United States, on infrastructure operated by the service providers listed in Section 6. Scraping jobs are processed on servers in Germany; your data is not stored there.

6. Service Providers

We never sell your data. We share it only with the service providers below, who process it on our behalf to run the product — or when you direct us to, such as exporting a table to your own Google account.

  • Cloud hosting and storage providers — run our website, API, databases, file storage, and scraping servers.
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Email delivery services — sign-in codes, invitations, support replies, and occasional product announcements.
  • Product analytics services — usage analytics for the extension and Cloud Platform.
  • Google Analytics — website visit statistics.
  • Google Sheets / Drive — only if you connect the integration: exports create spreadsheets in your own Google account, using a scope limited to files the integration creates.
  • Proxy infrastructure — the proxy networks your scraping traffic to target websites transits; they carry requests to the sites you scrape, not your personal data.
  • Operations tooling — alerting and log-management services we use to run the product reliably; limited account details (such as an email or IP address) can appear in system alerts and logs.
  • AI infrastructure providers — the AI-assisted features described in Section 3.

7. Data Retention

  • Workspace and scraped data — retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete tables at any time, and you can request account deletion (see Your Rights).
  • Sign-in sessions (IP address, browser) — kept for the lifetime of the session (up to about 30 days) and deleted when it expires.
  • Sign-in security log (IP address, email, browser) — deleted after 7 days.
  • Connector and integration telemetry — deleted within 180 days at most.
  • Export files — served from time-limited download links.

If you want to delete your account and its data, contact us at support@ultimatewebscraper.com to request account deletion.

8. Website

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. We only ask for personal information when it is needed to provide a service to you, and we collect it with your knowledge and consent.

Our website may link to external sites that are not operated by us. We have no control over the content or practices of these sites and cannot accept responsibility for their privacy policies.

9. Your Rights

  • You can request access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • You can request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting us at support@ultimatewebscraper.com. We will remove your data from our systems and instruct our service providers to do the same.
  • You are free to refuse our request for personal information, with the understanding that we may be unable to provide certain services.

10. Contact
