Ultimate Web Scraper is a friendly web scraping platform for people and AI agents. People use the Chrome extension: point at anything on a page — products, prices, images, emails, reviews — click it, and export the lot to CSV, Excel or Google Sheets. AI agents like Claude connect to the Cloud Platform over MCP and run the same extractions on request: you ask for data in plain English, the scrape runs in the cloud, and the results land as a table in your workspace.
No — and you never will. You point at what you want on the page and click it. There’s no scripting, no selectors to write, and nothing to install beyond a Chrome extension. Most people get their first spreadsheet out within a couple of minutes of installing.
The core of it is: the extension installs free, and extraction on your own machine is unlimited — every tool, no page or row caps. A handful of power features, file exports among them, are Pro. The Cloud Platform and AI connections run on our infrastructure and are part of the paid plans — live details are on the pricing page.
It means Claude — or Cursor, or whichever AI app you use — gets connected to your cloud workspace, where our scraping tools and your scraped tables live. You connect once by pasting a single link; from then on you ask for data in plain English, the scrape runs on our Cloud Platform, and a table lands in your workspace. Setup is copy, paste, sign in.
No. A connected AI only ever reaches the one cloud workspace you pointed it at. It can’t see your machine, your files, your open tabs or your browsing history — and anything you scraped locally in the extension never leaves your computer at all.
A new scrape always comes back as a cost estimate first — priced in credits, one credit per page scraped in the cloud — and the agent needs your yes before starting it. A couple of smaller things charge when you ask for them, like re-running a scrape you’ve already built. The hard guarantee underneath: credits are prepaid and can never go negative, and a read-only connection can never spend at all.
No — connecting us is how you avoid that. Your agent doesn’t read pages in the chat: it sends one instruction, our cloud browsers do the scraping, and the results live in a table it queries on our servers. Raw HTML never enters the conversation, so even thousand-page jobs cost a few sentences of context.
Claude on the web and desktop, Claude Code in the terminal, ChatGPT, Cursor, and any other app that can connect to an MCP server. Claude connects with a single link you paste after signing in; Claude Code is one line in the terminal; everything else gets a ready-made setup we generate for you.
Almost certainly — it works on the page as your browser renders it, including pages you’re logged into. The exception worth naming up front: LinkedIn isn’t supported by any of our tools. If a site turns out to be stubborn, the cloud’s proxies and unblocker usually settle it.
When you scrape locally, nowhere — results sit in your browser until you export them. When you run in the cloud, results live in your cloud workspace, which only you and the people you invite can see. You can delete any of it at any time.
