PandaExtract launched as a simple Chrome extension to help you scrape data without code. As our community grew, we saw how often people described us as their go-to web scraper and data scraper. The rename to Ultimate Web Scraper clarifies that focus while keeping the same product and team you trust.
Why the rename?
We chose the name Ultimate Web Scraper to communicate exactly what we do: give you a fast, reliable web scraper that anyone can use. Clear naming helps search engines and humans alike understand that our Chrome extension specializes in web scraping and data extraction.
As we continue to ship features for marketers, researchers, and founders, the new brand sets the stage for tutorials, documentation, and use cases centered around modern scraping workflows.
What stayed the same?
The product is unchanged—same team, same codebase, and the same no-code Chrome web scraper you already rely on. Your saved projects, billing, and subscription management still run through the secure Ultimate Web Scraper dashboard.
Existing users do not need to reinstall anything. The extension updates automatically and keeps all of your configurations, selectors, and exports intact.

We updated in-app messaging, onboarding flows, and documentation to better explain how to capture structured data, emails, and lists in a couple of clicks.
